Chartered Capital Shortlisted Twice at the FS Awards 2026

23rd October 2026

Two shortlists. Two areas that matter to our clients. Chartered Capital was proud to reach the shortlist for both the Trust & Security Award and the Wealth Management Award at the 2026 FS Awards. While we did not take home an award, the double shortlisting is a milestone worth celebrating. It gives us a chance to thank our clients, mark the occasion and reflect on what these two categories mean for our business.

The 2026 FS Awards, held in association with KPMG, took place on 22nd October at the Mansion House in Dublin.  For us, those two categories bring the focus back to what matters most: the trust clients place in us and the financial futures they want to build.

Why Trust Matters Beyond an Awards Ceremony

Financial planning starts with a conversation. However, a useful conversation needs more than figures on a page. It needs room to discuss what matters to you. That might mean protecting your family, planning a business exit or deciding when to step back from work. Sometimes, it means sharing concerns you have not yet put into words.

For business owners, personal and business finances can feel closely linked. Similarly, families may face choices that affect more than one generation. Our view is simple: trust should sit at the heart of those discussions. Clients should feel comfortable asking questions, raising concerns and taking time to understand their options.

That is why the Trust & Security shortlisting means so much to us. It touches on a responsibility we take seriously, not just a category on an awards programme. Of course, a shortlist is not a guarantee. Nor does it replace the need to earn trust through everyday actions. Instead, it offers a welcome moment to reflect on that commitment.

Wealth Management With a Clear Purpose

Wealth means different things to different people.

For one client, it may offer the freedom to retire earlier. For another, it may support a growing family or create choices after selling a business. Others want to enjoy what they have built while leaving a meaningful legacy. Although the goals differ, our focus remains on the person behind the financial plan.

We believe wealth management should help clients see how their financial decisions fit together. Investments matter, but so do the reasons for holding them. Likewise, a plan should reflect both future ambitions and the life someone wants to enjoy today. Our Wealth Management Award shortlisting is therefore another milestone we are pleased to share.

However, we do not see recognition as a finishing line. The purpose of our work remains the same: helping clients approach important financial choices with greater clarity.

A Shortlist Worth Celebrating

We would have loved to bring an award home. Nevertheless, we can be honest about the result and still take pride in reaching two shortlists. There is no need to turn a finalist place into something it is not. We did not win either category. Yet being shortlisted in both gives us a positive moment to share with the people who support our business. It also offers a useful reminder to pause. In a busy working year, it is easy to move straight from one task to the next without marking a milestone.

So, we are taking this opportunity to say thank you. To our clients, thank you for choosing Chartered Capital and including us in your financial plans. To everyone involved in our awards entries, thank you for helping us tell our story. Congratulations, too, to the winners and fellow finalists.

Final Thoughts

Chartered Capital’s double shortlisting at the FS Awards is a milestone we are proud to mark. Although we did not take home a trophy, recognition in Trust & Security and Wealth Management gives us plenty to celebrate. More importantly, it brings the focus back to the relationships and financial goals at the heart of our work.

Our attention now stays where it belongs: on our clients and the decisions ahead of them. If you would like to discuss your financial future, book a confidential consultation with Chartered Capital.
