Friday night was a memorable one for all of us at Chartered Capital. We were honoured to be shortlisted in three categories at the Tipperary Chamber Business Awards 2025; Training and Development, Best Small Employer, and Excellence in Customer Experience. W were absolutely thrilled to receive the Training and Development Award.

The event, held at the beautiful Abbey Court Hotel, was a wonderful celebration of the local business community. Congratulations to the County Tipperary Chamber for organising such a fantastic night, to all the other amazing businesses shortlisted, and to those who won awards. It was inspiring to see the dedication and innovation across the county, and having Taoiseach Micheál Martin attend added a special sense of support for the business community.

For our clients, this award stands as an independent acknowledgement of the standards we uphold. It reflects our commitment to professionalism, continuous learning and the delivery of high-quality financial planning.

Why This Award Matters

Training and development are at the heart of how we work. Even though we are a small, young business, our rate of upskilling is 100%, with every team member actively engaging in professional development. This includes attending Skillnet courses, watching videos to improve how we use the technology we employ, and undertaking structured study through professional bodies.

Over the past two years, we were particularly proud as Naomi, Catherine and Róisín qualified as Qualified Financial Advisers (QFA) and Approved Product Advisers (APA), through the Life Insurance Association (LIA) and the Institute of Bankers in Ireland (IOB). Mentorship forms a natural part of our culture. The leadership team provides hands-on guidance, encouragement and support throughout each individual’s learning journey. Looking ahead, Tanya plans to begin her professional studies in the new year, reaffirming our focus on lifelong development.

In addition, we support memberships with bodies such as the LIA, IOB and Chartered Accountants Ireland. This investment ensures our knowledge remains current and our advice remains clear, confident and client-focused.
