My name is John Wallace and I’ve been a client of Diarmuid’s for six years.
I first met Diarmuid when I was 41 years old, and I had a lot of questions about how I was going to exit my professional career and what my retirement plan was going to be like. Diarmuid put together a structure and a plan for me on that basis; we hit it off straight away, and I’ve been with Diarmuid ever since.
When I first started working with Diarmuid, I found him to be very trustworthy and easy to get along with and communicate with. He’s very diligent in everything he does and very professional, and he works very hard for you and your money.
Before joining Chartered Capital, there were a lot of unknowns and a lot of unanswered questions. During my time with Diarmuid and Chartered Capital, all these questions have been answered.
I think if I wasn’t working with Chartered Capital, I’d still be trying to secure my financial future. Diarmuid is a professional; this is his business, and my business is construction. I don’t have a full handle on my retirement plan without Diarmuid, so it’s very important for me to have Chartered Capital behind me.
The best piece of advice that Diarmuid has given me is that it’s never too early to start your exit strategy and your retirement plan and to ensure you get as much benefit as you can from the various tax and entrepreneurial reliefs as possible.
